Almond Toffee Candy Madness

toffee, toffee bars, english toffee, peanut toffee, almond toffee

The Toffee craze has been in full swing for years now in different parts of the world.  Lots of shops nowadays are offering these sweet foods.  I even saw a mobile shop who sells one on the streets lately.  I didn't stop to check it as I was already full at that time, but that didn't seem to stop others from choosing and buying an assortment of toffee.

Toffee, as we all know, are chewy sometimes hard candies and they are mainly made from sugar and some butter.  They are created by letting a sugar syrup bubble away until in turns into a dark amberish color.  It takes time and patience to do it, but it would all be worth it. You will be rewarded with an intense sense of flavors and a chewy candy that is perfectly set every time.

Every year or so, a new variant of toffee is born.  It suddenly appears in candy shops, and in a short time becomes a national or even a worldwide craze.  The almond toffee is the best example.  It is an English style super crunchy toffee that has whole or crushed almonds in and on top of it.  It is seriously good and strangely addictive, once you start eating it; it gets harder to stop munching.

Toffee has been considered a confection.  It means that it is something that is full of sugar.  They are so yummy that you will forget the fact that they are high in calories.  It doesn't really matter, a little bit of bliss doesn't hurt anyone.   Well, my family and friends for one loves them.  I personally know so because every time I buy one I only get to have a piece out of the entire box.  And my friends tell me that I need to order them a box each. It is that good.
